WEBER, in collaboration with Reichenbacher Hamuel GmbH, has pioneered innovative machine solutions offering comprehensive additive and subtractive manufacturing capabilities. These hybrid machines employ a unique method where plastic granulate is directly melted and then layered to form components. The standout feature of WEBER’s machines is their integrated milling unit, which allows for immediate machining of parts within the same setup.
The machines are designed with a robust portal frame and a stationary machining table, combining 5-axis milling with a 3-axis extrusion head. This design not only enhances precision but also makes these machines an accessible entry point into high-precision hybrid fabrication, all while maintaining cost efficiency. Key specifications include a maximum build plate temperature of 120°C and a milling tool changer equipped with seven tools, ensuring versatility and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
